Astral Body
The Astral Body book by Arthur Powell is a comprehensive and detailed study of the Astral body which is also called as Kamakosha in Sanskrit.
The author discusses in detail how life is after the physical body dies and what is the steps to take to make sure that the afterlife is also pleasant.
He also describes the process of dying and how this process can be made a pleasant experience rather than be fearful about it.
The book also talks about the denizens in this plane and what is their function with respect to humanity.
Some portions of the information in the Bhagwad Gita is also touched upon which shows the reader how truth is universal and all the scriptures talk the same truth.
Then the author also has a detailed discussion of how we can change the afterlife and also our next life by practising certain techniques now.
The part where he talks about how the emotions of childhood play an important role to shape the entire life of a person is something to ponder about.
Overall it’s a very good read for those who are curious to know about what is called as the inner world, about dreams, and the Astral world.
